Father’s Day is a special time of year for us at OC Polo, as Heather and I are both lucky enough to play polo with our dads. We couldn’t ask for a better way to spend quality time together. We've played with our dads in tournament polo all over California, traveled to Argentina to play polo and gone on horse camping adventures. Sometimes we are on the same team and some times you may see a few elbows flying. But after the sweat dries (and the tempers cool), we always come together in the clubhouse to share a meal and talk about our horses and how good they played, despite our various shortcomings.See you at polo,
OC Polo Kids Dish on Polo with Dad
LANIE HURTTSpencer Hurtt - DadWhat's your favorite thing about playing with your dad: I like when we get to ride side by side and we laugh when the horses poop or toot!Best advice from dad: He always says "it's not a matter of if you'll fall off, it's a matter of when". Then he says remember to tuck and roll LOLWhich of your dad's horses would you steal: Mystic, because she is so fast! Who started playing/riding first: My dad started riding as a kid, so definitely he was first.
TANNER PERKINSAndy Perkins - DadDave Schuberth - PapaWhat's your favorite thing about playing polo with your dad: It is fun to trot and play red light/green light. I'm getting FAST!Best advice from dad: Dad reminds me to keep my hands on the reins and Papa says to take good care of Cappy.Which of your dad's horses would you steal: I already stole Cappy from Papa and I would definitely take Alfie from Dad because he's so big.

I've had the chance to ride him and he is really smooth and knows where the ball is at. I also think he is from Argentina, so cool!
